My mother is gone

My mother, Beverly Ruth Greenfield, passed away yesterday, Monday June 11, 2012 at 10:05am ET. I miss her so much. I have so many things I want to say about her but I am afraid it would all come out a jumble right now.

We will be holding a memorial service on the afternoon of Sunday July 1st in Alpharetta, GA. I will post the address and time tomorrow after I have all the details.

My mom was taken by cancer before her time but her memory will live on with all the many people whose lives she touched. Bev has two daughters and five grandchildren and we will share stories about her until the end of our days.

I wish I could give you the biggest of hugs right now as distance is our enemy, but know that my thoughts and prayers and virtual hugs are coming your way right now!! (((((((((HUGS))))))))).

To Cara and the family,

I have look at Bev's facebook and have wanted to leave comments on her page - but I haven't been able to. I guess I'm not ready.

I worked with Bev the last few years and I thank God for putting her into my life. She was such a loving and caring woman and I will miss her with all my heart. I loved your mother very much.

Your mother always had grace and dignity and I'm glad she was able to leave this world with just that. I missed saying good-bye to her - I was in Germany with my own mother. But I was able to meet with her just weeks before at the local Starbucks near the house. I will cherish that time forever.

May God grant you peace in the coming days. I know you've been told that it will get better. And it will. I lost my father to cancer 2 years ago. I took it hard. But I knew he was in a better place and no longer suffering. I now remember good times and even though the last memories do pop up - it's OK.

May peace be with you,

Thank you, Erika. My mom talked about you a lot. You meant a lot to her too.
